Camp Registration Policy & Agreement
By registering a student for any camp offered by RiraSsam (“Camp”), the parent or legal guardian (“Parent”) acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Registration, Payment & Refund Policy
All camp registrations are final sale and non-refundable.
Full payment is required at the time of registration to reserve a student’s spot. A student’s registration is not considered complete until payment has been received.
Payment Method
Venmo: @RIRAssam
A refund may be considered only if:
-
There is an active waitlist; and
-
Another student successfully registers and completes full payment for the vacated spot.
Any refund, if approved, is issued at the sole discretion of the Camp and may be subject to administrative fees.
Parent understands that registration constitutes a financial commitment and that tuition secures limited enrollment space.
2. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
Parent understands that participation in camp activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to minor injuries, serious injury, illness, accidents, or, in rare and extreme cases, death.
By enrolling their child, Parent:
-
Voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation in the Camp.
-
Releases, waives, and holds harmless the teacher, camp director, staff members, volunteers, contractors, and the operating business from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or legal actions arising from participation in Camp activities, except in cases of proven gross negligence as defined by applicable law.
-
Agrees not to initiate or pursue claims, complaints, or legal action related to ordinary risks associated with participation.
This waiver applies to all Camp activities, whether occurring indoors or outdoors.
3. No Guaranteed Results
Educational outcomes vary based on individual learning styles, developmental readiness, participation, and effort.
The Camp is designed to facilitate learning and enrichment according to its stated purpose. However:
-
No specific academic, behavioral, language, or developmental outcomes are guaranteed.
-
Participation does not guarantee measurable improvement in grades, fluency, performance, or skill mastery.
Parent acknowledges that results differ from student to student.
4. Curriculum, Materials & Instructional Discretion
Camp curriculum, books, lesson plans, materials, and activities are subject to change at the sole professional discretion of the teacher.
Specific books, instructional materials, or activity details may not be provided to parents before, during, or after camp.
Parent acknowledges that instructional decisions are made in the best interest of educational quality, student engagement, and classroom dynamics.
5. Photo & Media Release
Parent grants permission for the Camp to photograph and/or record their child during camp sessions.
Parent understands and agrees that:
-
Photos and videos may be used for marketing, promotional, website, social media, or educational purposes.
-
No compensation will be provided for such use.
-
The Camp retains full rights to media created during camp sessions.
If Parent does not wish their child to appear in promotional materials, written notice must be provided prior to the start of camp.
6. Behavior Expectations & Dismissal Policy
Students are expected to behave respectfully and follow camp guidelines to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
The Camp reserves the right to dismiss a student without refund if:
-
Behavior is disruptive or unsafe.
-
The student’s actions significantly interfere with other students’ learning.
-
A parent is uncooperative or fails to support camp policies.
Dismissal decisions are made at the sole discretion of the Camp.
7. Health & Medical Responsibility
Parent agrees to disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, developmental concerns, or special needs prior to camp participation.
The Camp does not administer medication unless previously agreed upon in writing.
If a student becomes ill or injured during camp:
-
The Camp will make reasonable efforts to contact the Parent immediately.
-
Parent agrees to promptly pick up the student for appropriate medical evaluation and treatment.
The Camp will not independently seek non-emergency medical treatment for a student if no relevant medical condition or history has been disclosed in advance.
In the event of a serious or life-threatening emergency requiring immediate action, the Camp reserves the right to contact emergency services.
Parent agrees to assume full financial responsibility for any medical expenses incurred.
8. Attendance, Drop-Off & Pick-Up Policy
Punctuality is required to maintain a structured and professional learning environment.
Students may be:
-
Dropped off no earlier than 5 minutes before the scheduled start time.
-
Picked up no later than 5 minutes after the scheduled end time.
The Camp is not responsible for supervision outside of the permitted drop-off and pick-up window unless explicitly enrolled in an extended program.
Repeated late pick-ups may result in dismissal from the Camp without refund.

Parent agrees to receive text messages, phone calls, and electronic communications at the phone number and email address provided during registration for purposes including but not limited to:
-
Camp schedule reminders

The Camp is not liable for cancellations, delays, or modifications due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, public health events, government mandates, facility issues, or other unforeseen emergencies.
In such cases, alternative arrangements may be offered at the Camp’s discretion.
